If you have a Business Card from American Express OPEN, you can enroll to "Connect to QuickBooks." Once you enroll, all your Business Card transactions sync automatically, every day, with QuickBooks Online. This makes it easier to review and categorize your business expenses in one place.

Key benefits of "Connect to QuickBooks"

Here are the advantages "Connect to QuickBooks" has over your usual online banking setup.
  • Easily get more info about who you paid, right in QuickBooks. Each transaction on the Banking page has an attached PDF document that gives you important vendor info.
  • Know who paid what. The cardholder name shows in the transaction's Memo field. This is useful if you have multiple cardholders.
  • If you use the Spend Manager app, the receipts you upload also show in QuickBooks.
  • Your QuickBooks categories will also appear in Spend Manager. And, you can tag transactions with QuickBooks categories directly from Spend Manager. Learn more about Spend Manager.
